Flat pack furniture is designed to be shipped, not to be built. The instructions skip steps, the cam locks strip if they are over tightened, and a wardrobe that is out by two millimetres at the base will not close properly at the top. We build flat pack furniture across the Northern Rivers as a carpenter would: square, level, anchored and quiet.

Anything hung on a wall is a small job with a large downside. Artwork that lands crooked, a mirror pulling out of plasterboard or a floating shelf that sags in the middle costs far more to fix than to do properly. We hang art, mirrors, shelving, curtain rods, blinds, coat rails and heavy decorative pieces across Byron Bay, Ballina, Lennox Head, Bangalow, Alstonville and Lismore.

A television on the wall is the one job where a shortcut is obvious for years. Too high and you watch it with your chin up. Off level and you cannot unsee it. Fixed to plasterboard alone and it is a matter of time. We install TV wall mounts across Byron Bay, Ballina, Lennox Head, Bangalow, Alstonville and Lismore, fixed to structure, levelled and tidied.

Most homes do not have one job, they have eleven. The punch list on the fridge: a door that catches, three shelves, a wobbly deck board, a wardrobe still in its box, a mirror leaning against the wall since you moved in. Booking a block of time costs less than booking each of those separately, and the list is gone in one visit.

Settlement day arrives with a hundred boxes and a building report full of small print. One booking clears the lot: everything built, hung, mounted and adjusted before the couch has found its spot.

A shelf either lands in something solid or it lands in hope. We fix into studs, or into rated cavity anchors chosen for the actual load, and we know the difference. Floating shelves, bookshelves, coat rails, hooks, towel rails and garage storage across the Northern Rivers.
