Quarter day $250 · Half day $400 · Full day $700 · Northern Rivers NSW
Anything hung on a wall is a small job with a large downside. Artwork that lands crooked, a mirror pulling out of plasterboard or a floating shelf that sags in the middle costs far more to fix than to do properly. We hang art, mirrors, shelving, curtain rods, blinds, coat rails and heavy decorative pieces across Byron Bay, Ballina, Lennox Head, Bangalow, Alstonville and Lismore.
Every wall gets checked before anything is drilled. Stud, brick, hebel, fibro, double plasterboard, old hardwood framing: each needs a different fixing, and the wrong one is how holes end up being patched later.
Smallest booking is a quarter day at $250. Fixings and hardware charged separately.

What's included
Detail
Gallery hanging follows rules worth knowing. Centre of the artwork sits around 1500mm from the floor in a standing space such as a hallway, and lower in a lounge where you are seated. Spacing between frames stays consistent, usually 50mm to 80mm, so the group reads as one piece rather than several.
Weight decides the fixing. Under about 5kg, most plasterboard anchors are fine. Above that we look for a stud, and for heavy mirrors or long shelving we span two studs with a timber or steel cleat behind the fitting. In older Northern Rivers homes with hardwood framing we pre drill so nothing splits.
Coastal homes add one more consideration. Anything near an open deck or a bathroom gets stainless or coated fixings, because standard steel screws will bleed rust down a wall within a season.

Common questions
The smallest booking is a quarter day at $250, which typically covers several pieces in the one visit. A half day is $400 and a full day $700. Fixings and hardware are charged separately at cost.
Yes. Heavy mirrors are fixed to studs or to a hidden cleat spanning two studs. We do not rely on plasterboard anchors for weight they are not rated to hold.
Regularly. We lay the arrangement out on the floor first, agree it with you, then transfer it to the wall using a laser level so spacing and heights stay consistent.
Small patching and touch ups can be included if you mention it when booking, so we bring filler and a sanding block.
You get a fixed price on the day, before any work starts. The number we quote is the number you pay. No hourly meter, no surprises.
