From $165 per visit · Northern Rivers NSW
A shelf either lands in something solid or it lands in hope. We fix into studs, or into rated cavity anchors chosen for the actual load, and we know the difference. Floating shelves, bookshelves, coat rails, hooks, towel rails and garage storage across the Northern Rivers.
Straight when we leave. Straight next year.
Three jobs, one visit. Bring us your list and pay one call-out, not three.
Minimum booking $165, which usually covers several shelves in the one visit. Hardware charged separately.

Detail
Most sagging shelves were installed the other way around. Somebody drilled, then chose a plug to suit the hole. We work out what the shelf will actually carry, find the framing, and pick the fixing to match.
Plasterboard is fine for light work with the right rated anchor. Anything heavy gets a stud, two studs, or a timber cleat spanning both. Older Northern Rivers homes have hardwood framing that splits if you rush it, so we pre drill.
Coastal homes get one more check. Salt air eats cheap hardware, so exposed rails and garage racking get corrosion resistant fixings rather than whatever came in the box.
Where we work
We cover Byron Bay, Ballina, Lennox Head, Bangalow, Alstonville and Lismore, within roughly a 50km radius of Byron Bay. Same fixed prices everywhere, no call out fee.
Common questions
Minimum booking is $165. That usually covers several shelves in one visit, so it is worth saving them up.
Yes. Light shelves go in with rated cavity anchors. Heavier ones get a timber cleat or fixings into the studs, depending on the load.
Bring your own, or we can source them and charge at cost.
Laser levelled, and checked against the room rather than the ceiling. Old houses lean, shelves should not.
You get a fixed price on the day, before any work starts. The number we quote is the number you pay. No hourly meter, no surprises.
