TV wall mounting in Byron Bay, Ballina and Lennox Head

A television on the wall is the one job where a shortcut is obvious for years. Too high and you watch it with your chin up. Off level and you cannot unsee it. Fixed to plasterboard alone and it is a matter of time. We install TV wall mounts across Byron Bay, Ballina, Lennox Head, Bangalow, Alstonville and Lismore, fixed to structure, levelled and tidied.

Fixed brackets, tilting brackets, full motion arms and above fireplace installs are all standard work. Bring your own bracket or we will source one rated for your screen.

Bracket supplied by you, or we can source one. In wall cabling quoted separately.

Fully insured · Police checked · Fixed price on the day

Detail

Mount height, cabling and the walls we see locally

Height is the decision people regret. The centre of the screen should sit near eye level from where you actually sit, which for most lounges is between 1000mm and 1200mm off the floor for a 65 inch screen. Our free TV mount height calculator works the exact figure from your screen size and seat height, and we use the same numbers on site.

Cabling is the second decision. In plasterboard with a cavity we can often run HDMI and power through the wall to a recessed outlet so nothing is visible. On brick, hebel or a rendered wall, a painted slimline duct is the neat and reversible answer.

Above a fireplace looks good in photos and is uncomfortable to watch for a full film, so we will say so before we drill. If the position is fixed, a tilting or pull down bracket makes it liveable.

Common questions

TV wall mounting questions we get asked

How much does TV wall mounting cost in the Northern Rivers?

A standard install with cables concealed in a duct fits a quarter day booking at $250. Full in wall cabling, multiple screens or above fireplace work are usually a half day at $400.

What height should my TV be mounted at?

Set the centre of the screen at seated eye level, which usually falls between 1000mm and 1200mm from the floor. Our free TV mount height calculator gives you the exact measurement for your screen size and seating.

Can you mount a TV on a brick or hebel wall?

Yes. Brick, besser, hebel and concrete all get masonry specific anchors rated well beyond the screen weight. Hebel in particular needs the right fixing, as standard plugs will pull out.

Do you supply the bracket?

You can supply your own or we can source one rated for your screen size and VESA pattern and charge it at cost.

How does pricing work?

You get a fixed price on the day, before any work starts. The number we quote is the number you pay. No hourly meter, no surprises.
